Carbon Reduction Commitment Discovery (CRCD)
Registration for the CRC phase 1 is completed; and now the first footprint and annual reports have hopefully been submitted by all participants. The qualification year for Phase 2 is no nearly upon us – if you are still unsure what exactly you need to do, CRC Discovery (CRCD) is how we help organisations discover their obligations under CRC legislation.
With our investigation, and subsequent report, we will establish which parts of your company need to register, as well as putting together all the energy usage information needed to register.

We can:
- Gather ownership information for each subsidiary (if applicable)
- Collect details of all of your half hourly meters and their total electricity consumption for the CRC year April 2012 – March 2013
- Establish counterparty signatory details of electricity and gas contracts for all applicable buildings
- Identify and remove electricity you should not account for
- Compile the information to determine if your organisation meets CRC qualification criteria: Are you a participant or do you need to make an information disclosure?
- Reconcile the organisation’s structure and electricity meters under your ownership
The above Scope of Works will allow us to prepare a registration outline detailing the required data for input into the Environment Agency’s CRC portal.
We can then, in association with your registered contact (senior officer contact, see table below), complete the registration on your behalf.
