Renewable Heat Incentive and the CRC

Renewable Heat Incentive and the CRC

23 Feb 2012

The Renewable Heat Incentive policy, open for business from 28th November 2011 promises to revolutionise the way heat is generated and used in the UK. This is the first financial support scheme for renewable heat of its kind in the world.

At a time when we can see many problems with relying on a rapidly changing world and continuous reliance on oil and gas, DECC are proposing to put in place a key foundation stone of our energy future where both carbon reduction and energy security are assured.

This workshop will look at what the RHI is, how projects can be funded, how it can impact and reduce your CRC levy, and how you can sell the scheme at board level.

Cian Duggan, Technical Director at Carbon Credentials and Erich Scherer from DECC will be presenting information and answering questions.
