Richard 

Richard Green, Commercial Director

Richard is commercial Director of Carbon Credentials. Prior to joining Carbon Credentials Richard was Managing Director of Carbon Energy Management Ltd a business providing energy management software to financial and professional services sector in London and the south-east.

Richard founded London based ‘fit-out’ business, The Orchard Group in 1990 and spent 12 years as CEO before moving on to establish and lead international award winning business continuity software company ‘Office-Shadow’ and for 7 years oversaw its expansion into Europe and the US.

Richard excels at developing new business opportunities, developing teams and business systems. He regards the energy management sector as ‘emerging’ and driven by new and potent factors; compliance, financial incentive, corporate responsibility and reputation. These conditions present a challenge for the business community and great opportunity for Carbon Credentials to provide energy and time saving solutions and effective professional advisory services.


Cian Duggan

Cian Duggan, BEng, Technical Director

Cian is Technical Director and founder of Carbon Credentials. With his passion for energy efficiency and renewable energy, he is customer focused and responsible for ensuring technical solutions are practical and commercially viable. He started his career in the software sector, principally with Microsoft, then with Aldiscon, the world leaders in SMS software, before becoming Managing Director of Cyrona Software, an internet and e-commerce software solutions provider. Moving to Scotland, he became professionally interested in energy conservation, splitting his time between his two companies: Enervation, a company geared to reducing companies’ expenditure on telecommunications and utilities and property developers, the Beith Group.

Prior to founding Carbon Credentials Cian lived in Valencia, Spain, where as Managing Director of Beith, he sourced and rehabilitated traditional houses, with a particular focus on utilising low carbon/green methodologies.
Cian has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ireland, UCD and is currently enrolled in an MSc in the University of Surrey. In his spare time Cian helps his wife Dr Samantha O’Reilly run her parenting website www.BeyondSupernanny.com, mountainbikes around Surrey and is a dad to his two young children.
